Stable range at Plas Tregayan

The stable range at Plas Tregayan is an agricultural building constructed of rubble masonry, with the main elevation facing an enclosed cobbled courtyard to the northeast. It features coursed dressed masonry and a slate roof that rises to a pyramidal shape over the central block, topped with a louvred cupola. The building is symmetrically designed, with the central block showcasing a wide shallow basket-headed arch that has a slightly advanced keystone and chamfered jambs. Above this arch is an opening with doveholes. Similar arches are located at both ends of the flanking ranges, although these are now partially blocked; the left side has a single central doorway, while the right side features a stable door and a window. The right range has been extended by an additional bay, which has been converted into an estate office and includes a small brick gable stack.

Flat arched doorways are positioned on either side of the central block. To the left of the left doorway, there are two ventilation slits, and to the right of the right doorway, there is a stable window. At the rear of the range, there is a single pitch addition with a central doorway, and opposing ventilation slits are located at the southeast end, along with a wide modern light for the office extension. The interior was not inspected during the survey.
