Description
The stable and coachhouse range at Plas-yn-Cefn is a long structure divided into three sections, built in limestone rubble with a slate roof and stepped gable parapets. The central section is two stories high, while the flanking sections are single-story. It features a tin louvre in the central section, along with two similar louvres on the left side.
On the main section, there is an entrance on the left with a boarded door and flanking four-pane windows. To the right, there is another similar entrance with a window beyond it. The first floor has a plain-glazed tripartite window in the center, a four-pane window under the eaves on the far left, and a corresponding boarded window on the far right. There are also two large stepped-gabled dormers with plain-glazed cross-windows.
The left section contains four boarded stable doors, each with a slightly recessed cross-window to the left, while the right section has three plain boarded garage doors. The interior was not inspected at the time of the survey in November 1997.
