Description

Ladies Lodge, also known as Siop Bach, is a small rectangular shop built in a baroque style. It features rendered elevations above a rubble plinth and has a pantile roof with shaped, scrolled gable parapets at both the northwest and southeast ends. The southeast end, which faces the square, has a single-storey canted shop-front window with small-pane glazing and a segmental mural by Hans Feibusch above it. There is also a lattice window in the gable apex.

On the northwest end, there is a 12-pane sash window with an arched fan above and a decorative iron balcony in front. Above this, a vertical lattice window can be found. The northeast side includes an arched niche on the left containing a floral urn, with a lunette window to the right. Centrally located under the eaves is a Jacobean window with a splayed sandstone surround, which is likely re-used from Emral Hall in Flintshire. The building is adorned with hanging signs and bracket lanterns at the corners.
