Description
The former dairy located to the north-west of Ty Mawr is a 19th-century building constructed from squared and coursed slate stone slabs, topped with a slate roof. It features a T-plan layout, consisting of a two-storey main range and a short single-storey projection. The main range has a gable front with two louvered windows to the left of a stable-type door, all of which are adorned with slate lintels. There is also a small louvered opening at the apex of the gable.
The lower range, possibly a tack room, includes a plank door to the left where it meets the main range, along with a small louvered window to the right. The floor is laid with stable setts and includes a drain running along the long axis of the main range. Inside, the main range features a collar beam roof divided into two bays and a blocked fireplace along the long wall.
