Description
Parc-y-garnedd is a single-storey, two-room cottage dating from the 18th century. It is aligned roughly from north-east to south-west and features a taller gabled barn attached by a single-storey link section that projects to the north-west. The building is constructed from roughly coursed rubblestone, with the cottage and link section lime plastered, and it has slate roofs.
The cottage has windows on either side of a boarded door that is offset to the right. The left window has missing joinery, while the right window features a damaged four-paned sash. There are integral end stacks with slate drips; the left stack has been heightened in red brick, and the right stack is incorporated into the link section. The link section has a lateral stack on the front wall to the left and a four-paned sash window to the right, which is positioned at the angle with the rubblestone hay barn. The barn has a square opening in the upper part of its front gable, a blank left return wall, and a lean-to addition on the right. At the time of the survey, the building was noted to be in poor condition.
The interior was not accessible during the survey.
