Description
Bailiff's Tower at Penrhos Home Farm is a two-storey structure made of rubble, featuring a distinctive crenellated parapet that conceals a slate roof. The tower has square-headed openings with voussoirs, which now contain modern small-pane windows. There is an outside flight of steps on the south side. At the rear, there is a hipped-roofed range that has two broad camber-headed openings, which have been renewed in earlier styles.
The boundary wall of the home farm connects to the left (north) side of the modernized range at the back of the tower, leading to a long, single-storey rubble range with a grouted slate roof and modern small-pane windows in square-headed openings. The boundary wall continues from the left (north) side of the gable end of this range and runs northward. Approximately 2 meters north of the return, there is a gateway featuring square gate piers topped with pyramidal stone caps. North of the gateway, the wall is taller, rendered, and crenellated.
