Description

The bridge over the railway near Ty Mawr Farmhouse is a 19th-century structure, built in a style similar to the nearby Pont Cytir, which is dated 1847. It features a single arched masonry design made of grey rubble with buff freestone dressings. The segmental arch is adorned with rusticated voussoirs, and the piers at both ends of the bridge also have rusticated detailing. There is a freestone band at the deck level, and the parapet is topped with flat freestone coping, complemented by square capstones on the piers.
