Description

Stanley Cottages is a single-storey group of cottages built from grey-brown rubble with a paler freestone plinth, quoins, and dressings. The cottages have a slate roof and tall chimneys with diagonally set stacks. They feature modern top-hung casement windows set in their original openings.

The range along Tyn Pwll Road has five windows and two shallow gabled porches made of stone, with pointed arches above the doorways and panelled doors. On the left, a cross gable displays a heraldic shield made of slate near the apex, featuring the arms of the Stanley and Williams families, which were brought from Ellen's Tower on Holyhead Mountain. The range facing Cytir Road has six windows and three shallow gabled porches in stone, also with pointed arches to the doorways and panelled doors. The range that leads to the lane off Cytir Road has a gable on the right and a shallow gabled porch similar to the others, with two windows on the right and a single window on the left; the rubble wall continues to the left.
