Description
Talgwynedd is a villa built in a simple Regency style. The main structure features masonry with ashlar on the main elevations and has hipped slate roofs with a pronounced overhang at the eaves. It has end-wall and axial stacks and is two storeys high. The house consists of a main range facing southeast, accompanied by a long service range that partly encloses a courtyard at the rear.
The main elevation on the southeast side includes a polygonal full-height bay with a hipped roof on the right, which may be a later addition as it uses a greyer stone. To the left of this bay is a three-window range, featuring an arcaded veranda, likely made of decorative ironwork, on the ground floor. This veranda surrounds a centrally located doorway to the right, next to the canted bay. The windows throughout the building are elegantly proportioned 12-pane sashes. The rear elevations have not been fully inspected, and the interior has also not been inspected.
