Description
Towyn Lodge is a rectangular, two-storey building with four windows, featuring roughcast rendered walls and a hipped slate roof. It has rectangular rendered axial and end wall stacks. The main entrance is located on the left side and includes a timber porch supported by slender coupled chamfered columns and a moulded cornice. The doorway is framed by an architrave with reeded pilasters and is flanked by recessed moulded panels. The windows are slightly recessed hornless sash windows, with 20 panes on the ground floor and 16 panes on the first floor. The rear windows are 6 and 8-pane casements. On the left side, the house is bordered by a castellated rubble wall that features a square-headed gateway on the right and a modern gateway on the left.
Inside, the layout has been significantly changed due to the conversion into four dwellings, and the original staircase has been removed. However, the owners report that some original doors, covings, and fireplaces are still present.
