Description
The Foundry is a large, two-storey building with an industrial character. Its walls are made of uncoursed rubble and feature large quoins, with openings that have cambered brick heads and slate sills. The roof is hipped and covered with large slates arranged in diminishing courses. The main elevation faces a yard to the north and presents a long, two-storey façade. In the centre, there are two sets of double doors, which are separated by two windows on each floor. The left-hand doors are in their original opening with cambered brick heads. On the outer sides of the doors, there is a range of three windows. All the windows throughout the building also have cambered brick heads.
