Description

Mid 19th century. Pair of 2-storey and attic, 3-bay tenements with shops at ground. Painted rubble to N elevation. Base and eaves courses, raised painted margins to 1st floor.

N (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: each with fanlit 2-leaf doors to centre flanked by shop windows, 3 symmetrical windows to 1st floor; mutual pend to left of No 221.

S (REAR ELEVATION: 2-storey wing.

Fixed plate glass to ground floor windows, plate glass sash and case at 1st floor. Grey slate roof, decorated cast-iron gutter bracketts; single slate-hung piended dormer to far right and left, rendered stacks to gables and to centre.
