Description
This building, located at 33-37 High Street in Linlithgow, dates from the earlier 19th century and is a two-storey, four-bay tenement that features shops on the ground floor. It is constructed from sandstone rubble, which is rendered and lined on the northern elevation. The building has base and eaves courses, with contrasting painted margins around the windows.
The northern entrance elevation is asymmetrical at ground level. There is a pend off-centre to the right with a boarded door, and a shop to the left that has a door in the centre flanked by irregular windows. To the right, there is an internal stair with a garage door located further to the outer right. The first floor has five windows.
The windows on the building are modern. The roof is covered with grey slate and features a reduced stack at the gable.
