Description

The lodge at Dalmonach Print and Dye Works in Bonhill dates from the late 19th century and is a single-storey, three-bay structure with a rectangular plan. It is constructed from sandstone ashlar and is currently in a ruinous state. The building features pillar quoins and a blocking course, along with moulded cills.

The main elevation is symmetrically arranged with three bays and sturdy corner piers. At the center is a roll-moulded door, with a blank plaque above it and a shouldered gable that breaks the eaves. There are flanking windows, but all openings have been blocked.

On the side elevation, there are two windows that are also symmetrically arranged, which have been blocked as well. The roof is now without its slate covering and has been replaced with felt and wooden slats. The building has coped sandstone ridge stacks with circular cans.
