Description

Post 1867. Single storey and attic, 3-bay cottage with lean-to pavilions, porch and late 19th century addition to rear, sited on N facing hill. Harled.

N elevation: gabled porch projecting at centre with window on return to right. Windows in flanking bays and doors to lean-to pavilions. Piend-roofed, canted, slate-hung dormers to attic.

S elevation: piend-roofed addition to right of centre, window at centre. Window to each pavilion.

4-pane sash and case windows, modern hopper windows to smaller openings. Graded grey slates. Pink granite gablehead stacks.

Kennels: Later 19th century. Single storey, L-plan kennels. Rubble with squared and ashlar dressings, harl-pointing and limewashed boundaries to runs.

E-W range: blank to N. 6 bays to S, 4 leading to walled runs with saddleback coping; 2 to far right grouped closely by re-entrant angle.

N-S range: shorter. Door by re-entrant angle to W and door at centre. Window to chimneyheaded gable end to S.

Slate roof; clay ridge. Ashlar coped skews. Cast-iron rooflights.
