Description
The Walled Garden, dating from the late 19th century, is a large rectangular-plan garden located to the north of the Cambus O'May Hotel. It features a low, coped wall made of roughly squared and pinned rubble on the south side, which includes central ornate iron gates. The walls on the other three sides are higher and have single openings to the west and east. The opening to the east, which may have been added later, has a brick segmental arch and an ornate iron gate. Inside the garden, there is a series of bull-faced ashlar square-section piers that run from south to north, creating a formal walk that bisects the garden.
