Description
The building is a late 19th-century single-storey kennel located to the north of Cambus O'May Hotel, adjacent to a walled garden. It has a rectangular plan and features runs with decorative ironwork railings and small ridge ventilators topped with pagoda caps. The structure is constructed from roughly squared and coursed pink and grey granite.
There are two kennels, each with a door on the left side and openings near the wallhead. A single door is present on the gable end facing east, and there is a small gabled projection on the north side. The windows have plate glass with 4-pane glazing in timber sash and case frames. The roof is half-hipped and covered with grey slate, and there is a coped gable stack on the projection to the north.
