Lodge, Coneyhill House, 28 Kenilworth Road, Bridge Of Allan

Coneyhill House Lodge is a large detached villa built in the mid-Victorian period, with later additions and alterations. It is two stories tall with a basement and features a symmetrical east-facing front. The ground floor includes canted bay windows and a central doorpiece supported by coupled pilasters. Above, there are three bipartite windows with bargeboarded gables over the outer bays. The building has broad eaves and a slated roof. At the rear, there are parallel wings and a semi-circular outshot at the basement level, which has circular windows on the north side. The northwest wing is single-story with a basement and features a balustraded parapet. The entrance is marked by monolith gatepiers topped with sculptured eagles, and there are curved wing walls with footgates, one of which has been converted into an extension of the lodge. The single-story lodge is constructed from rubble and has a low-pitched slated roof.
