Suilven, 125 Henderson Street, Bridge Of Allan

Suilven is an early Victorian, two-storey detached villa located at 125 Henderson Street in Bridge of Allan. The building is constructed of coursed rubble with lighter freestone dressings and features raised quoins. The south front has three windows and a central Roman Doric pilastered tripartite doorpiece, flanked by canted bays on the ground floor. The first floor has a central bipartite window between two V-fronted bipartites of the Mackison type, which are topped with gablets featuring decorative barge-boarding at the eaves. There is a single-storey piended wing on the east gable, along with a single-storey and attic section that was formerly used as stables, forming an L-plan. The roof is slated.
