Description

This building is an Arts and Crafts style masonic hall dating from 1893. It is harled (roughcast) with red sandstone dressings. The hall has three bays and incorporates a square entrance tower at the southwest angle. The main entrance has long and short sandstone dressings and an entablature; above the door is a panel displaying a crest and the date 1893, finished with a shallow scrolled pediment. There are two small windows on the first floor. A corbel table (a projecting course) supports an upper glazed gallery storey, which has a slated, bell-cast roof and a weather-vane at its apex.
