Description
Heatherlea and Norrieston House are a pair of two-storey, three-window houses dating from the earlier 19th century. They are situated on Main Street, Thornhill. Heatherlea is rendered with painted stone margins, while Norrieston House is lined with stucco and has painted stone margins. Heatherlea has a central front door, while Norrieston House’s door is positioned off-centre, flanked by two windows to the right and one to the left, with a similar arrangement of three windows on the first floor. Some original windows retain their astragal glazing. The buildings feature end and axial chimney stacks, and have slate roofs.
