Description

This is a barn, likely dating from the 18th century, located at the rear of Menteith House, Main Street, Thornhill. It is constructed of low rubble stone and has a pantile roof. A cart entrance is positioned off-centre on the front elevation, which faces onto the area known as the “Crown” yard. The windows are asymmetrically placed.
