Description
This mid 19th century milepost is made of cast iron and stands approximately 0.75 meters tall. It has a flat rectangular shape and is slightly curved in section. The post is painted white with black lettering. On the front, there is a low relief of a hand pointing to the right, with the raised letters 'GLASGOW ROYAL EXCHANGE 21' above it. Below, another hand points to the left, with the raised letters 'ABERFOIL 5'.
