Mid 19th century. Cast-iron milepost. Flat rectangular post; approximately .75m in height and slightly curved in section. Painted white with black border/lettering. Bears low relief of hand pointing right towards Glasgow. 'GLASGOW ROYAL EXCHANGE 21' in raised letters above; 'BALFRON 2' below
