Description

1855 semi-detached pair in late Georgian style. 2 storeys

4-bay block. Ashlar with end pilasters and twin, fluted Doric

columned doorpiece; railed steps. Window architraved,

corniced at ground, lugged at 1st floor (No 8 now with modern

(circa 1983) pvc pivot windows) Main cornice and blocking

course, centre party wall and chimney supported by scrolls.

Platform slated roof with decorative iron balustrade.

Interior No 8 unusually elaborate and finely detailed

plasterwork with rich classical ornament, stained lass dome.
