Description
The Douglas Arms Hotel is an early 19th century, two-storey, three-bay hotel. It features painted render with margins and has a central door set within a later corniced porch. The building includes sash windows and has scrolled skewputts, end stacks, and a slate roof. At the rear, there are two additional two-storey rubble-built blocks, consisting of two and three bays respectively, which extend along Main Street. A low rubble-built stable block is located at the rear, featuring both segmental and rectangular openings on its south elevation.
