Description
The gates and railings to Quarter Primary School date from the later 19th century. They feature seven spans of cast-iron railings designed in a segmental fan pattern, set on bullnose capped ashlar boundary walls that step down to follow the gradient. The structure includes a gateway on the east side and two pedestrian gateways at the center. To the west, there is a squared stone gatepost topped with a pyramidal cap. Additionally, there are late 20th century vehicular and pedestrian gates located at the center.
