Description
85, 87, 89 Quarry Street in Hamilton is a three-storey, four-bay tenement building designed in the style of Alexander Thomson, dating from the later 19th century. The building features a red sandstone ashlar facade with some concrete repairs, a slate roof, and red brick stacks topped with a dentilled cornice and uniform cream cans. The ground floor includes shops with a close door and two modern shopfronts. The first and second floors have two windows in the central bays, while the outer bays are two-storey with pediments, featuring three-light canted windows and acroteria. The interior has not been seen.
