Description

St John's Church on Duke Street in Hamilton was built in 1835 and features a classical style with later additions and furnishings. The church has a three-bay facade with advanced ends and clasping Tuscan pilasters. It is topped with a deep entablature that includes a block tablet and volutes. The facade also has shallow arched recesses for segmental windows, and the first floor is linked to recessed doorways at the ends.
