41, 43, 45, 47, and 49 Quarry Street in Hamilton is a three-storey, six-bay tenement built in the Beaux-Arts style, featuring shops on the ground floor. The building is constructed of red sandstone ashlar with red brick gables and has a slate roof. The ground floor includes a close door and three modern shopfronts, topped by a dentilled cornice. The four central bays have architraved windows with block aprons on the second floor, and there is a moulded wallhead course. The outer bays are accentuated with pilaster strips that have mannered capitals and stepped parapets, while the second floor features shallow three-light corniced canted windows with block aprons. The building has plate glass sash and case windows and decorative cast-iron rainwater goods. The corniced ashlar stacks have been rebuilt in brick on the left and are topped with uniform terracotta cans. The interior has not been seen.
