Description
Dunrod, located at 63 Burnbank Road in Hamilton, is an early 19th century single-storey building constructed from ashlar stone, featuring a rustic base course with three rows of deep stugs. The front of the building is symmetrical, showcasing a central doorpiece with anta pilasters and two windows that have raised margins. The lintels of the windows are integrated with the eaves band. The structure is topped with a cornice and a blocking course. There are two one-window piended wings that are slightly set back and do not have a cornice or blocking course. The roofs are slated, and there are corniced ashlar stacks.
