Description

Bloomfield is a single-storey, four-bay cottage built around 1840, featuring an additional lower range on the right. The cottage is constructed from painted sandstone, accented with contrasting ashlar quoins, chamfered architraves, and hoodmoulds. It has a projecting porch located in the left-centre bay, and the windows throughout have 12-pane glazing. The roof has straight skews and includes an end stack and one later axial stack, all covered with slate. The lower range is made of painted rubble.
