Description

6 The Avenue in Girvan is a mid-19th century single storey and attic cottage with three bays. The front of No 6 features painted ashlar with margins, while No 8 has painted stucco with margins. Both cottages have a central door flanked by windows, all of which have chamfered margins. Each cottage has two piended canted dormers, with the dormer on No 6 displaying a dentilled cornice. The building has straight skews, end stacks, and a slate roof.
