Description

Early 19th century. 3-storey, 3-bay tenement with ground floor shops. Painted ashlar. 2nd floor cill course; eaves course; cornice; blocking course. Architraves to 1st and 2nd floor windows, corniced to 1st floor; deep apron panels to 1st floor, shallower to 2nd floor.

NE (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: recessed entrances at centre to Nos 17 and 19; glazed timber doors to both, letterbox fanlight to No 19; pilasters and cornice to mutual close (No 21) with Nos 23 and 25 (see separate list description); glazed timber door. Regular fenestration at 1st and 2nd floors with exception of bipartite window to outer right at 1st floor.

Predominantly 12-pane timber sash and case windows at 1st and 2nd floors (some modern). Grey slate roof; stone skews; coped apex stacks; circular cans.

INTERIORS: not seen 1998.
