Description
Swinister Old Haa is a late 18th century, single storey and attic, three-bay symmetrical laird's house with harl-pointed rubble walls.
The east elevation is symmetrical, featuring a centrally located door at ground level, flanked by windows, and a high blank wallhead above. The west elevation has a small window centered at ground level with a door adjacent to the left and a high blank wallhead above.
The house has a grey slate roof with skylights in the attic and stone copes on substantial harled apex stacks and skews. The interior was not visible during the last inspection in 1996. The haa is enclosed by a random rubble wall, which is lower with a coping on the east side.
