Description

The lighthouse at Mossbank is a metal tower set on a concrete base. It has an octagonal shaft that rises to a balcony, which is surrounded by a handrail. At the top, there is a circular lantern made up of an apron, curved glass, and a conical roof with a domed ventilator. Next to the lighthouse, there is a timber shed with a felt roof, which is cable-stayed to concrete pads.
