Haa Of Dalsetter, Yell

Haa Of Dalsetter is an early 19th-century, two-storey, three-bay symmetrical laird's house. It features harl-pointed rubble walls with droved sandstone ashlar margins and projecting cills on the windows.

The south elevation is symmetrical, with brick voussoirs above a segmental-arched entrance in the central bay. This entrance includes a panelled timber door flanked by two-pane side-lights and a fanlight in the arch-head. The flanking bays contain windows, and there is regular fenestration on the first floor.

On the east gable, there is a single window located on the first floor to the right. The north (rear) elevation has a vertically-boarded timber door centered at the ground level, with a window directly above it on the first floor. The west gable is blank.

The windows are timber sash and case, with four panes on the principal elevation and eight panes on the gable and rear elevations. The roof is covered with asbestos tiles and features concrete skew-copes. The gablehead stacks are harled and have copes and circular cans.

Additionally, there are the ruinous remains of a random rubble barn to the northwest, which has a door centered in its south elevation.
