Description
Rooms O' Seafield is an earlier 19th-century, two-storey, six-bay building that originally served as a trading booth and worker's accommodation. It is situated on a shore-front site and features harl-pointed rubble walls.
The south elevation is asymmetrical, with a six-bay arrangement grouped into two sets of three. The left group has regular window placements, while the right group includes a modern porch that projects from the ground in the left bay. A door has been inserted between the bays, with regular fenestration in the right bays and at the first floor.
On the west elevation, there is a vertically-boarded timber door on the ground to the right, along with a two-leaf vertically-boarded timber loading door on the floor above. The building has a harled store with a tarred roof, and the west gable is advanced on the left side. There are also vertically-boarded timber doors centered in the west gable and to the outer right on the south elevation.
The east and north elevations are blank. A single cast-iron 12-pane fixed-light window remains at the first floor in the outer right bay. The building originally had a mono-pitch tarred roof, which has now collapsed, and there is a harled square stack at the center.
Additionally, there is a harled wall with a doorway that forms a short link from the southeast corner to the house on the east side.
