Description
Hunter's Monument at Lunna House, located in Lunna Ness, is an eyecatcher built in the earlier 19th century. It features harl-pointed rubble and consists of a square-plan tower with a slab roof. The tower has tall round-arched openings on the northeast and southwest faces, while the sides have round-arched openings with high cills. Flanking battlements made of rubble curve slightly forward to the northeast and are topped with merlons at the outer left and right wallheads. These battlements continue as drystone walls that extend downhill, ending at the beaches to the northwest and southeast.
