Description

The Lookout Tower at Ravenscraig Park is an early 19th-century structure. It is a small, circular tower with a conical roof, located next to rubble-coped sea-defence walls at a sharp angle above the shoreline. The tower is built from squared rubble with ashlar margins and features a stone slab roof. There is a round-headed doorway on the north side, and large gunloops are present on the south, east, and west sides.
