Description
Sinclairtown Feuars' Graveyard, located on Nether Street in Kirkcaldy, dates from the mid 18th century and later. This rectangular-plan graveyard is situated near Ravenscraig Castle and features predominantly small moulded apex stones, many of which are severely eroded.
Notable elements include a classical stone with a pediment that displays a weaver's shuttle and flanking anchors, as well as fluted pilasters and carved drapery above the inscription panel dedicated to 'James Law 1785'. There is also a heavily pedimented monument marked with '4' on a large keystone and dated 176(?)5. Another plain stone commemorates 'GORGE (sic) WATSON, SON TO JANE(?) WATSON. MASON AND FEWER IN StCLAIRTON . 1784'.
The graveyard is enclosed by rubble boundary walls.
