Description

Mid 18th century and later. Rectangular-plan graveyard close to Ravenscraig Castle. Predominantly small moulded apex stones, many severely eroded.

Of particular note: classical stone with pediment bearing weavers shuttle and flanking anchors, fluted pilasters and carved drapery over inscription panel to 'James Law 1785'.

Heavily pedimented monument with '4' on large keystone and dated 176(?)5. Plain stone to 'GORGE (sic) WATSON, SON TO JANE(?) WATSON. MASON AND FEWER IN StCLAIRTON . 1784'.

BOUNDARY WALLS: rubble boundary walls.
