Description
Skipidock is an early 19th-century dock that was reconstructed in 1895. It has a splayed plan and is surrounded by a pier to the north, which has an entrance at the east end, a quay wall to the east, and a beach to the south. The quay and pier walls are made of large, rough sandstone blocks, and some original stone mooring bollards are still present.
