Description

Prince's Dock is a shipping dock built in 1827, with alterations made in the mid and late 20th century. It features ashlar retaining walls topped with rounded copings and includes cast-iron bollards. The dock has a rectangular shape with slightly curving sides and blocked entrance channels located at the north-east and south-east corners. It measures approximately 200 meters by 120 meters. Currently, much of Prince's Dock is covered by a shopping centre development that is supported on piles above the water, extending over the west side.
