25 Burgh Road, Lerwick

25 Burgh Road in Lerwick is an early 19th-century, two-storey, three-bay house with a rectangular plan. The exterior features harl-pointed stugged sandstone walls and projecting cills at the windows. A modern glazed timber porch with a cement-rendered base is located at the center bay, with regular window arrangements in the flanking bays and on the first floor. The south gable is blank and has a modern garage at ground level. At the rear, there is a modern lean-to porch and a bipartite window centered on the first floor.

The house has timber sash and case windows, with 12 panes on the front elevation and 4 panes at the rear. The roof is covered with purple-grey slate and features coped apex stacks with circular cans and cement-rendered skew copes.

The boundary walls include a cement-rendered dwarf wall along Burgh Road, topped with decorative cast-iron railings. There is a central gate made of cement-rendered gatepiers with bases, semicircular caps, and a matching cast-iron gate. Additionally, there is a random rubble boundary wall with a concrete cope to the south.
