Description
50 Castlegate in Jedburgh is a flatted terraced house dating from the earlier to mid 19th century. It is two stories high and has three bays, with a harled exterior and painted ashlar margins. The left bay features a pair of doors; the left door leads to a pend and is boarded with a three-pane fanlight, while the right door is flat panelled and has a letterbox fanlight. The upper floor windows are positioned close under the eaves and consist of 12-pane sash and case windows. The house has a harled stack and is roofed with grey slates.
