Description
46 Castlegate in Jedburgh is a late 18th century, two-storey, three-bay terraced house, with an additional bay on the right. The exterior is harled and features painted ashlar margins. There is a step leading to a deep-set, corniced, panelled door with an 8-pane fanlight above it, located in the centre. Each bay has windows, with the outer right bay containing a flat-panelled secondary door at ground level, possibly leading to a pend, and a window above it. The house has 12-pane timber sash and case windows, a harled stack, and is covered with grey slates.
