Description

1878, English Decorated Gothic, Large 5 bay hall church with tower projecting at NE gable. Entrance in centre of East gable with large four light Decorated window over. Flanking the West gable to the North is the tower of two stages with a spire over. The lower stage is buttressed at the angles with a quatrefoil, 2 light window and oculus on each face,

broached to an octagonal drum at the upper stage with a single lancet on each face and tall octagonal stone spire over. Balancing the tower on the South is a two storey 'transept', also buttressed. The flanks of the church have a two light Decorated window per bay with buttresses between. Stugged ashlar with polished dressings.
