Eyemouth Parish Church, Victoria Road, Eyemouth

Eyemouth Parish Church, built in 1878, is a large hall church designed in the English Decorated Gothic style. It features a five-bay layout with a tower that projects from the northeast gable. The entrance is located in the center of the east gable, above which is a large four-light Decorated window. To the north of the west gable stands a two-stage tower topped with a spire. The lower stage of the tower has buttresses at the corners, with a quatrefoil and a two-light window, as well as an oculus on each face. The upper stage transitions to an octagonal drum, featuring a single lancet window on each face and a tall octagonal stone spire above. On the south side, there is a two-storey transept that is also buttressed. Each bay on the flanks of the church includes a two-light Decorated window, with buttresses positioned between them. The church is constructed of stugged ashlar with polished dressings.
