Description
The Evangelical Union Congregational Church, located on Church Street in Eyemouth, was built in 1862. This two-storey building features a three-bay front that is rendered and lined to resemble ashlar stone. It has projecting quoins and long and short work detailing, along with a piended slated roof. The upper-level windows have rounded heads. The church is accessed from a porch at the first-floor level on the south side, which is reached by a passage and steps from Church Street. An ornamental wrought-iron lamp bracket and lamp are situated over the passage.
