Description

The George Hotel, located at 2 High Street in Newburgh, was built in 1811. It is a two-storey building with a basement and features three window openings. The exterior is made of painted ashlar stone and includes quoin angles. The entrance is highlighted by a pilastered Roman Doric doorpiece that has a triglyph frieze above it. The roof is pitched at an angle.
