Description
Viewfield Cottage, located at 18 Albert Road in Eyemouth, was built in 1878 in the style of architects Peddie and Kinnear. The main front faces east and features two storeys plus an attic, with a three-bay layout. The ground floor has a central door that is sheltered by a projecting gabled porch with bargeboards. The outer bays contain bipartite windows, while the first floor showcases a date panel at the center. There are three gabled dormers with finials at the top of the wall. The building is constructed of stugged ashlar stone with polished dressings and has a piended slated roof, with brick stacks positioned at the flanks.
